Configuring Microsoft Outlook for your brazoslink mail account

In Microsoft Outlook, pull down the Tools menu and select E-mail Accounts...:

Select Add a new e-mail account and click Next:

You must select the Server Type for the account. The brazoslink server supports IMAP and POP3. Unsure about which one to choose? Read IMAP vs. POP to help you decide.

Select IMAP or POP3 and click Next:

Enter your account information as shown below, then click More Settings...:

Click the Outgoing Server tab, and be sure the settings are as follows:

Click the Advanced tab, configure the incoming & outgoing SMTP server settings as shown (note the differences between the POP3 and IMAP configurations), then click OK:

Click Next, and you should see a Congratulations! screen. Click Finish:


To change the settings or delete an existing account, pull down the Tools menu and select E-mail Accounts...:

Select View or change existing e-mail accounts and click Next:

Use the buttons in the E-mail Accounts window to change, add, or remove accounts as needed (see the configuration details above for the proper settings):
